Vincent for iOS Update: NEW FEATURE!!

Update announcement sent by email to subscribers on September 18th, 2013

We have a new update online and ready for you! No specific action is required on your part in order to access this update.

This update contains all of the following improvements and more:

  • New Feature: "Property Photo Albums” have been created to allow you to organize property photos by Album. This now means you can organize photos by any Album name you choose such as ‘Before’, ‘After’, ‘Interior’ etc. Property photos are now larger and you can also view additional details about the photo by tapping the “i” (Info) button. The ten photo limit per property has also been removed. We may need to re-apply a photo limit at some point in the future, but we want to see how many photos users will upload if given the option. The Property detail page has been updated to align with this new feature and now only displays the primary photo of the property. To access the Property’s Photo Albums, or to add a new Photo, simply open the Property menu in the upper right corner of the screen and choose the appropriate option. This feature also addresses an issue that used to present an error message when adding photos to a property without an MLS number.
  • Punch clock has been both improved and fixed for iPhone users. Punch history is now sorted based on an editable date field. This will allow administrators to make manual adjustments for employees who forget to punch or punch incorrectly. For now, the edit function is limited to Vincent Support Staff. In a future update this will be editable in Vincent’s UI. Also fixed an issue where users could punch in but not punch out. An instructional dialog has been added to the punch history screen with a reminder and further details on how to use this feature update. NOTE: We are aware that this update will break punch clock functionality for iPad users. A solution for this is already in the works.
  • Numerous other minor UI enhancements and bug fixes.

Please check out these updates the next time you login and please be sure to let us know what you think. As always, your feedback and suggestions are very important to us.

Vincent for iOS Update

Update announcement sent by email to subscribers on September 8th, 2013

We have a new update ready for you!

This update contains bug fixes, feature upgrades, and layout improvements...

  • Layout for the Activities list is now optimized to allow for longer Activity names.
  • Each search result screen now displays the staff member that each found record is assigned to.
  • The Opportunity detail page now supports the ability to relate properties that already exist in the database instead of only creating a new property. This means that we can now import lists of properties and be able to create Opportunities later on. It also means that Vincent can now support a workflow that begins with a property record and the Opportunity record is created later. When you select the Property field in an Opportunity detail page, Vincent will look to see if there is a property already related to that opportunity. If there is, you will be taken to view that property as always. If there is not, you will now be taken to a familiar search screen where you can search for an existing property by any available field or combination of fields. From the list of search results, you can tap any found property to assign it to the Opportunity you are working on. If none are found, you can also create a new Property record and it will be related to your Opportunity record automatically.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented updated street names from displaying on the Property list view.
  • Bug that caused blank records to appear with question marks in every field for some users has been resolved.
  • Numerous other minor UI enhancements and bug fixes.

The following enhancements to Vincent are now online:

  • Major server upgrade. System should be much more responsive now.
  • iPhone assigned activities now displaying correctly
  • Workflow improvement in Actions for all versions. Vincent will now give you a choice between automatically marking the completion date of action as 'today' or manually choosing a different day for the completion date.
  • Company Name field now available in Contact details.

Pro Tip:

  • Opportunities listed in the assignments window will turn bold red when they have not been updated for 3 days. Currently, this calculation is performed based on a change made to any of the opportunity record fields or by adding a note under the communication and notes tab...
